Tina Cohen-Chang.

Tonight I did something I had never done before. I watched an episode of Glee. Apart from being confused about several things (namely, are there two different schools that main characters go to?) I noticed something... Tina Cohen-Chang. Amazing style. I am not sure if this is how the character is style every episode, but, I like her outfits from tonights episode. Seems like she may be a bit of a dandy icon.

Ruffles, collars and bow... oh my!

Maybe she is a Mao fan also?

I do love a collar + bow <3

Mao Asada: Rising.. still... ♥

Amazing. Girl is back.

Such a girl thing.

Moloko: Is it weird that I am not going to eat lunch because I saw a photo of a girl who I dont like and she has lost weight?
Friend: No. That is totally normal... right?

My name is Christine*

My name is Christine *. I work in a call center for a courier company. Despite the fact the main function of my employment is to communicate verbally and care to customers needs, I refuse to do tasks that are asked of me by people that have spend money with my company because "it would be too time consuming". I refuse to do anything without a consignment number, even though customers can reach me by pressing '3' - inquires without a consignment number. I wont be asking Claire Moloko for a reference.

* That is not the actual Christine. Obvs

Dress Code

Over the weekend, there has been some sort of out cry about new dress code standards of particular Perth night clubs. For many years, there has been the double standard of girls being able to wear practically anything, while men have had to adhere to the "collared shirt/dress shoes" rule. Its seems that in recent days, this has changed somewhat, with different clubs being quite particular about what patrons (well men, its seems girls can still wear whatever) can and cannot wear. Some bizarre examples have been banning skinny jeans but allowing shorts. Well, what type of shorts? Any shorts? And at what level of tightness does a pair of jeans become skinny? As Rachel Zoe said, one persons boyfriend cut is another persons skinny... Where is the line drawn?

Other items that seem to have been banned across a number of clubs include gold chains, Ed Hardy, v-necks and excessive tattoos. Now, this does not effect me, as I find most of the listed items repulsive, however, it does seem bizarre to ban things like gold chains. Perhaps due to my resolve to stay away from 95% of these venues, I don't really understand if people wearing gold chains are more inclined to fight or be a nuisance. In any case, civilians are not happy, some are even calling the new rules racist, others, are saying everyone is "intimidated" by the lads who sport this fashion *

At the end of the day, entry to late night venues has always been a privilege, and management does have the right to refuse entry to anyone considered undesirable. If I owned a nightclub, I probably wouldn't allow entry to maxtreme beefcakes who think they are on Jersey Shore, or orange spray tan girls with fake boobs and fake hair. I don't like the aesthetic, and wouldn't want to see it in my club. And it would be my right to do so.

* No one is intimidated. I ,for one, am laughing.

Its that time of year...

After the excitment of the holiday season, and January swimming by at an alarming rate, my mind starts thinking about an evenet the induces panic attacks and stress. My birthday. I have a love hate thing with my birthday. It's not really the getting older thing that bothers me, I accepted the inevitability of aging around the time I turned 16, instead, its the 'to have a party, or to not have a party?' that bothers me. Of course, I always want to have a party, I want to be surrounded by my favourite people, being showered with love and happy wishes. Then I change my mind, having decided that no one will come to said party, and then begrudgedly organise something that I tell everyone I dont care if no one attends, while realy hoping everyone will. All in all, more than a bit ridiculous.

So, that being said, I have decided to ACTUALLY organise something this year, and not let negetivity rule my day of getting old(er). I have just over a month to plan and organise, and I am actually excited. Mob Nonna is going to party ♥

Taco Time!

I am obsessed with mexican food. As apart of my "detox" this week, I am eating vegan*. Sooooo, its vegan tacos for lunch :]

You will need:
Taco Shells
Kidney beans
Refried Beans
Soy Cheese.

Im lazy, so i just microwaved the beans and salsa, with half of my (chopped) tomatos, and the cheese. Put that in heated taco shells and add the lettuce, rest of tomato and the avacado. Sprinkle with pepper. De-lish!

Nom nom nom

*There is a possbility some of the ingrediants weren't vegan as a didn't check over the lables with a magnifying glass, however, you know what i mean. My dedication to veganism ended a decade ago. Yes, I'm really that old.

A princess was born ♥

Alissa Czisney won US Nationals this weekend in amazing style. She has been consistent all year, and while many feared her skates earlier in the season were flukes, I maintained high hopes for her. I even picked her for Fantasy Skating.
So perfect.

The ice has a new princess.

Wouldn't it be amazing if she beat Yuna Kim at worlds. Girl can point her toe, so she ought to get a bonus over those who can't. Just sayin'.

Where has the time gone???

Gosh! Has it been a week since I wrote something?? Good Lord.
What have I been doing?

Well my friends, something amazing called US Figure Skating Nationals occurred last week, which took up a large portion of my time (I didn't even go out on the weekend so I could watch it live), and, the boyfriend and I have finally moved into our new (temporary) house in Perth. Its quite exciting :]

In other news I am detoxing this week. I'm sure this will be hell, and I'll write a ranty post about it.

Good times.
